Influenza

Each year, approximately 20-30% of children and 5-10% of adults acquire an Influenza A or B infection.1

The illness can be severe and even fatal, particularly for the elderly, very young children, pregnant women, and those with existing medical conditions.

Roche Molecular assays enable the rapid, in vitro detection and differential diagnosis of Influenza A and B. For use on the cobas® Liat® System, the assays allow the reliable detection of influenza in both laboratory and point-of-care settings.
