Detection and differentiation of S. aureus and coagulase-negative Staphylococcus spp. (CoNS) DNA in research samples
Research Use Only Kit MGRADE provides all necessary reagents to detect and differentiate DNA of Staphylococcus aureus and coagulase-negative Staphylococcus spp. (CoNS) in research samples.
 
It can be combined with the LightCycler® MRSA Research Use Only Detection Kit to detect the methicillin resistance gene (mecA) gene.

Reliability
  • Internal Control (IC) identifies specimens with factors causing inhibition of the amplification process to ensure maximum reliability
  • IC is amplified with the same primers as the target, but detected in a separate fluorescence channel

  • Runs under a common thermal profile with other microbiology research kits
